Rosie discovers her husband has been unfaithful and confronts him. Her worst fears are confirmed as she learns of his infidelity. Her life quickly spirals out of control as she is forced to leave the marital home, taking her two small children Kieran (9) and Kyla (6) with her, entering a world of uncertainty and hardship.
Dramatic events unfold over a key weekend that will affect Kieran and Kyla’s life forever.
‘A Silent Night’ emerged from these thoughts. Everyday, young people are making decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives, and I wanted to highlight certain circumstances that could influence why these certain choices might be made. This is not an excuse, but we must take the time to understand in order to make any difference for the young people of the future.” – Gino Ricardo Green
Completed in 2016, ‘A Silent Night’ was supported by BFI Future Film, screened at the 2016 Cannes short film corner and was selected for Academy Award Qualifying Festival Urbanworld in New York.
